This article http://embassymag.ca/mobile/story/bernier-9-23-2009 Reveals that the Reformatories have identified Pamela Anderson, by name, as a prominent anti-sealing activist. Presumably CSIS or the RCMP have some sort of “file” on her. I wonder if they have any hidden cameras trained on her? Naaaw, they wouldn’t ever do such a thing. You think? I wonder if the Cons will let her back into the country. Or if they would go to bat for her if she got into a tight spot outside the country…

Here are $35-million of your tax dollars at work. http://www.plandaction.gc.ca/eng/index.asp Since when are we supposed to pay for Reformatory advertising? Five times more spending on this than on public awareness ads about swine flu. This government is a damn embarrassment.

The main problem with the Harper Cons is they only care about their core voter base. 80% of stimulus money is slated for Conservative ridings and the ridings with the most spending are those of key cabinet ministers — some where the unemployment rate is half the national average. Welcome to Orange Green Liberal (OGL).

OGL exists for one purpose: to assist in the defeat of Canada’s lousy Conservative government.

Though the OGL has worked on campaigns for both the NDP and Green Party, in the past, OGL realize that the only way to beat the united Reformatories is to work for the Liberal Party of Canada.

The Liberal Party is the party that most closely represents the vast majority of Canadians, unlike the Reformatories who speak mainly for a bunch of angry reactionaries who want to take the country back to the days before the Charter and the Bill of Rights. The Liberal Party of Canada is the first choice of about a third of the country, and the second choice of an overwhelming number of the rest. They offer a progressive, common sense, moderate, choice planted firmly in the political centre.

Best of all, they are non-ideological. In other words, they are pragmatists, rather than wedded to rigid prescriptions that stifle creativity and attempt to shoehorn people into policies that are out of touch with reality.

Right now, our first past the post electoral system doesn’t give us the government we want. It doesn’t distribute seats the way Canadian’s vote and worst of all, it has put an out of touch, mean-spirited, party in power when the vast majority of Canadians don’t share their extreme conservative values.

In light of this reality, one thing is clear: a vote for the NDP or Green Party is a vote for the Conservatives. Think about this. In 2006 the NDP helped destroy the nascent National Daycare Program. They destroyed the court challenges program. They destroyed the Kelowna Accord developed with Aboriginals. They abandoned and harmed the voters they claim to be their core constituency. Now we know they’re for sale — and for a bargain basement price, at that.

As for the Greens, though they have many good policies, they’re not yet ready for prime time. Too many candidates are so far out of the mainstream, most Canadians just can’t take them seriously. They still have no hope of electing a candidate since their support is a mile wide and an inch deep. They don’t yet have the political smarts to understand this and focus their efforts. A Green MP would change Canada, for the better, but right now the party continues to divide the progressive vote, and help elect Cons to office.

Together we can stop this madness. OGL aims to help.
